We are beyond excited to announce that a brand-new food concept will be joining us in July, delivering KNOCK OUT FLAVOURS! Bringing HUGE energy, mighty meatball subs and punchy pasta; welcome Polpetta!

UFC flyweight Molly McCann and Macro-chef Joel McCarthy are the faces behind this tasty new business. The pair decided to join forces, with the love of great food at their friendship’s core.

The long-time friends have been training hard in the kitchen for months, creating a menu that will swipe you off your feet. They want you to be floored by their food, and after spending time out of the ring perfecting the menu, you’ll likely be tapping IN for another serving. 

Polpetta (meatball in Italian) will be an incredible Italian-inspired kitchen and deli, bringing you the most delicious menu of knockout food in early July; we’re so excited for them to join the tastiest food line-up in Liverpool!

Molly McCann may be known by many as “the Meatball” one of the most recognisable names in UFC the last few years, but Molly is so much more; an ambassador at ‘Gloves up, Knives Down’, a mental health advocate and now; a restaurant owner.

Joel has been running his own business, macro chef, for the last few years, amassing a following of health-conscious and flavour-hunting patrons by serving up the healthiest and tastiest macro meals, including custom plans for Molly and Next Gen MMA. 

Let’s look at some of the food options you can expect from this power duo


Meatball sub: (of course) Beef and sausage meatballs, sugo, provolone, pecorino and basil

Deli meat sandwich: Whipped nduja ricotta, fennel salami, bresaola, honey vinaigrette and seasonal salad leaves

The heavyweight sandwich – Italian beef: Braised beef, beef fat mayo, roast peppers, pickled onion, bone marrow jus

Aubergine fritta: Marinated fried aubergine, sundried tomato mayo, fontina and salsa verde


Spaghetti polpetta, 36 month parmesan and gremolata. Which will be sure to pick you up in the 5th round!

Fettuccine alfredo, truffle pecorino, pangrattato

And specials on the board every week.
